In Sunday School we aim to teach the key details of the Bible narrative, giving all the children a firm foundation on which they can later build. In the 8+ age groups we introduce children to a simple Bible study and then build on that by encouraging the children to question things so that they really get to grips with God’s word. It is important to satisfy the mind while touching the heart.

All the teaching materials we use are developed by TnT ministries and are in line with our aims.

When We Teach

These are run at our 10am service, held at St Margaret’s Girls College. We meet together in church to sing and pray with everyone else and then leave for our sunday school classes while the adults are taught. They are held in the classrooms next to the chapel.

Why We Teach

• To accurately teach God’s word, the Bible, as this contains everything we and the children need to know in order to become friends with God and live in a way pleasing to Him. We aim to teach this in a way that is appropriate to the children we work with.
• To assist parents to discover God’s word with their own children.
• To allow parents the opportunity to be taught in the 10am service while we teach the children.
